I have the honour to submit for the signification of/
His Majesty's pleasure the following" Ordinance intituled:-
"An Ordinance to restrict the taking of legal proceedings in
respect of certain acts done and payments made during the
war period and to validate certain proclamations, rules,
regulations, orders and other legislative acts issued,
made and passed, and sentences, judgments and orders of
certain courts and officers given and made during the war
period".
An explanatory report by the Acting Attorney General
showing the reasons and occasion for passing the Ordinance is also

enclosed.

With reference to the last paragraph of the Acting
Attorney General's report, I should be grateful for your instructions
regarding the date which should be declared as the end of the war
period for the purposes of this Ordinance.
